Forum Terms & Rules

To ensure that getmanaging.com provides a friendly and constructive environment in which to communicate with addicted players of management games, the following rules must be observed. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action being taken, this may range from an official caution to a life long ban depending on the severity of the offence. Each instance of policy violation will be dealt with individually, and the moderator's decision is final.

The following is forbidden:

Posting offensive, abusive or racist content or images
This rule will be strictly upheld. If a user is deemed to be violating this rule by a moderator action will be taken, ranging from a caution to a lengthy ban.

Posts containing knowingly false or inaccurate information
Every attempt will be made to ensure that the content of the forums is accurate. However, due to the nature of the forums this isn't always possible. Any user posting knowingly false information is liable to a incur ban.

Vulgar or Obscene content or images
Vulgar or obscene language or images will not be tolerated and can result in an instant ban. This also encompasses links or images of pornography, as well as any other improper or offensive content. Repeated abuse of this policy will result in a ban.

Threatening Behaviour
Any posts deemed to be threatening to a fellow user or staff member will not be tolerated. This also applies for any content that is invasive of a person's privacy. This could lead to an instant ban. The posting of peoples email addresses without their prior consent is also unacceptable.

Flooding and Spamming
Any user flooding the forums (repeatedly posting the same or similar messages) without a view to enter into constructive dialogue is forbidden and repeated violation will lead to ban. Persistent gibberish isn't tolerated and it is at the discretion of the moderators as to what is acceptable.

Piracy and Warez
getmanaging.com does not tolerate software piracy of any form. Any member advocating or promoting this activity is subject to an instant ban.

Multiple Accounts
The creation of multiple accounts of one user is forbidden, and will lead to the closure of the duplicate accounts. Persistent abuse will result in a ban.

Posting in languages other than English
Regrettably, English is the only language permitted in the forums. Although users from around the world are encouraged, we are not able to support other languages.

Posting abbreviations and in capital letters
For the benefit of other users posting in SMS text type abbreviations is not acceptable. Posts consisting entirely of capital letters is also not acceptable. Repeated violation of this policy will result in a ban.
